About Tribute
YWCA Silicon Valley’s Tribute to Women Awards is an annual YWCA signature fundraising event attracting over 800 attendees, including corporate and community leaders and Silicon Valley professionals. YWCA Silicon Valley honors up to 50 women executive leaders and 5 emerging leaders that represent Silicon Valley’s tech and business sectors. Participating companies include Cisco, Applied Materials, Qualcomm, Synopsys, Intuit, Gilead Sciences, IBM, NVIDIA and SAP.

Honorees will be announced at our annual Tribute Breakfast at the Silicon Valley Capital Club on March 13, 2019.

The Honorees will be celebrated at an awards ceremony and fundraising dinner on April 25th at the Fairmont San Jose in downtown San Jose. Attendees at this event will enjoy an elegant dinner and inspiring program, along with a live silent auction that includes highly coveted, one of a kind, luxury items.

About YWCA Silicon Valley
For over 100 years, YWCA Silicon Valley has been at the forefront of the most critical social movements – from civil rights, to affordable housing and pay equity, to violence prevention. YWCA is part of an international movement serving over 2 million in the United States, impacting over 18,000 in Silicon Valley, and 25 million worldwide in 120 countries.

YWCA is on a mission to empower by working to end racism and violence, to achieve solutions for survivors of violence facing homelessness and to inspire by closing the education and prosperity gap.

YWCA Silicon Valley is one door to many solutions for those who have been impacted by violence. This year alone, we will open our doors over 20,000 times to provide critical services to our clients’ needs including shelter, housing, counseling, child care, and education and prevention programming.
